Carol asks…Treating asthma in cats?My cat was diagnosed with asthma`about a year ago. At the time, the vet I was using gave him two shots of steroids, about 3 weeks apart. He seemed fine until a couple of months ago. Now he's coughing every day. Probably affects him more in the spring.
The new vet we're going to said he doesn't like giving steroid shots, since steroids can bring diabetes on, and if that happens, there's no way to get the steroids out of the system. Instead, he prefers
